In 1863 the Metropolitan Railway began the world's first underground railway between Paddington and Farringdon with wooden carriages and steam locomotives.

 

Manufactured by Bombardier Transportation, this "S stock" trains is the currently running on Metropolitan line in London. The Lego tube train in Leicester Square Lego store was also referenced by "S stock”.

 

Colour sensor was also carried on train, scanning coloured tiles on tracks for announcement system. "The next station is Euston Square. This is the Metropolitan line train to Aldgate"
